Cabbage Slaw

Serves 4-6

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise 

  • 1/4 cup champagne vinegar 

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder 

  • 5 dashes Tabasco 

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 

  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage 

  • 1/2 cup sliced shallots

Whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, garlic powder, tabasco, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes in a large mixing bowl. Add the shredded cabbage and shallots and mix to thoroughly combine. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
