Smoked Whitefish Salad
Serves 4-6
2 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons finely diced red onion
2 tablespoons finely diced celery
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
7 ounces smoked whitefish, skin and bones removed then flaked into large pieces.
Everything bagel chips
Mix all the ingredients except the whitefish together in a medium mixing bowl. Gently fold in the whitefish together avoid breaking it up too much. Chill until ready to serve. Serve cold.
To make the bagel chips, slice two everything bagels into 1/4” rounds, toss with 1-2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and lay in a single layer on a baking sheet. Toast in a 350 degree F oven for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
